Coach Sharkey raises the GSL League Championship Trophy.
It's the first GSL* football championship in the schools history.
Congratulations Saxons!!

*UPDATE:  It was reported to SaxonSports that the Saxons actually won league championships prior to the formation of the GSL.  Ferris won the Spokane City League Football Championship in 1970, 1971 and 1972.

The Saxons finished off their regular season with  43-14 win over the Rogers Pirates.   After taking a 14-0 lead at half, Ferris opened up the game in the 3rd quarter scoring 16 points - including an Adrian Milsap safety.  The team got good production from the usual players and scored in all facets of the game - offense, defense and special teams.  QB Jeff Minnerly threw for 244 yards and 3 TD's, Jared Karstetter had 6 rececptions for 111 yards and 1 TD.  Shawn Stockton had 4 catches for 66 yards and 2 TD's - he also scored on a 95 yard pick six to end the game.  McKenzie Murphy scored on a 73 yard punt return and Nathan Tonani had a nice 11 yard run for a TD.

It was also Senior night.  The Saxons honored 20 seniors and their escorts prior to the game.  Those seniors are:
